Putty powder is a powdery material for surface pretreatment before paint construction.The main purpose is to correct the curve deviation and fill pores of construction surface in order to obtain uniform, smooth paint surface to lay the foundation.

 

Usually putty powder is composed of base powder, fillers, water and other additives. The base material ( also called a binder ) is the most important component of putty as adhesives. The most commonly used adhesives for putty are cement and organic polymers.The fillers are mainly for filling, commonly used calcium carbonate, talc and quartz sand. Accordingly, the putty composition of the grinding fineness, the uniformity will directly related to the ability to achieve uniform, smooth finish effect.
