Calcium carbonate is commonly known as graystone, limestone, stone powder, marble, etc. After crushing and processing, it can be used in construction materials, plastics, coatings, putty, plywood, paint, rubber, metallurgy, papermaking and other fields.

Different fineness calcium carbonate powder has different application fields. According to the different crushing fineness, the industry is divided into four different specifications: single fly, double fly, three fly, and four fly, which are used in various industrial sectors.

It is generally classified according to the type of application machine. Calcium carbonate is processed into coarse powder (0-3mm), fine powder (80-425 mesh), ultra-fine powder (400-1250 mesh), and fine powder (1250-3250 mesh).

The 400 mesh calcium carbonate mill is between fine powder and superfine powder. You can use general fine mills, such as: vertical mill, MTW European version mill, raymond mill, TGM trapezium mill and other equipment for processing; you can also choose ultrafine mills, such as: LUM ultrafine vertical mill, HGM ring roller micron mill, used for ultrafine calcium powder processing over 400 mesh.

The process of calcium carbonate mill:

1.Crushing

Big material is crushed by the crusher to the feed fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the mill.

2.Grinding

The crushed small piece of material is sent to the silo by the elevator, and then it is evenly and quantitatively sent to the grinding chamber of the mill for grinding by the vibrating feeder. The ground material is classified by the classifier, and the unqualified powder is classified by the classifier and returned to the host for re-milling.

3.Packaging

Fine powder that meets the fineness will enter the dust collector through the pipeline to be separated and collected. The collected finished powder will be sent to the finished product bin by the delivery device through the discharge port, and then packed with a powder tanker or automatic baler.
