Pure-quality magnetite can be directly put into the furnace for ironmaking, but in the end, it is still associated with more minerals. For some magnetite with high impurity content, crushing and screening are required, and the magnetic separation of grinding minerals is used to produce concentrates. The iron ore production mainly includes three processes: crushing, grinding and beneficiation.

The first stage: crushing and screening - three stage closed circuit crushing

Large iron ore is sent to the jaw crusher or mobile jaw crusher for coarse crushing by the vibrating feeder. The coarsely crushed iron ore is sieved by the vibrating screen and sent by the belt conveyor to the single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for secondary crushing; then iron ore will be sent into the multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for fine crushing;

The second stage: grinding

The iron powder of 0-12 mm sieved by the vibrating screen was evenly sent to the ball mill for grinding, and was sieved by a spiral classifier. If it did not meet the requirements, it was sent to ball mill for re-grinding.

The third stage: magnetic separation

The iron powder is sent to the magnetic separator to remove impurities;

Stage 4: Drying

The iron powder is sent to a dryer to obtain iron powder.
