The application of vertical mill in slag and other solid waste processing
Solid waste, that is all kinds of waste including solid particles, waste, slag, sludge, etc.Grinding mill is the essential equipment for recycling of solid waste.
VM series vertical mill is a large-scale grinding equipment produced by Kefid which adopts European advanced technology combined with years of design and manufacture of advanced mill concept and market demand. The equipment can process solid waste into different fineness of powder according to the characteristics of slag, coal gangue material to realize recycling in the cement, brick and other fields.
Several major solid waste's utilization are as follows:
1. Slag: it is the residue of beneficiation or smelting. After milling, it can be used to produce slag cement, concrete, roads slag,etc.
2. Cinder: it is one of the important products of steel, ferro-alloys and nonferrous heavy metals smelting and refining processes.After milling by vertical mill, it is commonly used to produce cinder or slag large-scale concrete model, also can be used for roads or for insulation, sound insulation material within the housing.
3. Coal gangue: there will be a lot of waste rock produced in coal mining and coal washing process.After crushing, grinding into different fineness powder, it can be used as power plants, building materials, chemical raw materials to achieve comprehensive utilization.
4. Flyash: flyash is a major solid waste the coal-fired power plants discharged. After the grinding process, we can get different levels of fly ash to meet the needs of secondary use of new building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry and other fields.
