If the water content of the material is high, it is easy to bring more mud in the process of mining and rotation, resulting in adhesion and blockage during storage, transportation and crushing, causing accidents. Therefore, before the crushing work, the water content of the material must be measured.
When the water content of the material is high, how to grind it?
1. Use wet grinding
The drying process is more complicated, and its capital investment and production costs are high, so wet grinding can be used. When the water content of the material is high, and the production process after grinding also requires relatively wet materials, such as wet magnetic separation, flotation and phosphoric acid extraction, the wet grinding process can be used.
2. Adopt a combined production process of crushing and drying
For example, the wind swept mill used in phosphate rock grinding and the fan mill process of pulverized coal use hot air to pass through the crusher. The function of hot air is to dry the materials on the one hand, and discharge the dried, crushed and ground materials on the other hand. The specific surface area of the crushed material is increased, and it is suspended in the body, the surface of the particles is exposed, and the drying effect is better. The product moisture can be reduced to less than 1% depending on the process requirements.
3. Local heating of the relevant parts of the crusher
When the water content of the material is high and it is difficult to use the above process, the method of local heating of the relevant parts of the crusher can be used. For example, local heating of the lining board and the impact board of the impact crusher can prevent accidents caused by the adhesion and blockage of the materials.
